Gunay is the most exotic bride to have chosen me as her wedding photographer. She comes from Azerbaijan and despite having lived in Baku with Marek for a long time, the couple decided to get married in the Czech Republic (Venue: Resort Green Valley). However, it is quite complicated marrying a foreigner in our country and Gunay and Marek learned it the hard way as they did not manage to get all their paperwork done before their wedding day. As a result, the ceremony was only symbolic. The official act took place at the town hall a few days later. But people like them, who have worked in Prague, Baku, and Dubai, do not lose much sleep over something like this. They enjoyed their special day to the fullest.
Like probably most of you, I know next to nothing about Azerbaijanis. But based on what I learned about Gunay and her family, I can say that they are very nice, easy-going, and friendly people. Gunay and Marek invited many friends from all over the world to their wedding, so it was a really interesting multicultural wedding.
